Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson P.S. is pleased to announce that Hemashree “Hema” Subramaniam has joined the firm’s Litigation group as an associate. Hema’s experience spans general business litigation, agency compliance, commercial real estate law, construction defect, insurance coverage, and family law. She comes to HCMP most recently from Heffernan Law Group in Kirkland. Prior to that, she was with VJ Law Firm in Redmond/Issaquah, first as a law clerk and then as an attorney. She was also an independent contract paralegal with Lex Assist in Seattle while she completed her LL.M.

Before embarking on her LL.M. program, Hema was a content developer with Istar Skill Development Private Limited in Bangalore, India.

Hema’s experience also includes work as an attorney and clinic legal assistant with King County Bar Association Neighborhood Legal Clinics, where she has volunteered her time since 2019.
