We have substantial experience in class action litigation. We have represented a number of clients in defending putative class actions in antitrust, consumer protection, employment, and securities litigation. We have also represented plaintiff classes in consumer protection litigation.
For example, we have represented the University of Washington and other clients in defending employment class action cases involving wage and hour claims and discrimination claims. We also represented Mitsubishi Corporation in the defense of an Alaska antitrust class action arising out of the Bristol Bay salmon industry. We are currently representing the plaintiff class of Washington customers of AT&T Mobility in obtaining refunds of taxes on internet access.
