HCMP Welcomes Three New Associates

Jessica Kerr, Lisa Chaiet Rahman, and Christie Lundquist Segal have joined HCMP as associates - Jessica and Lisa in the firm's Litigation group, and Christie in its Real Estate & Land Use group.

Jessica’s varied experience with Washington and United State Courts, including serving as Clerk for Justice Mary Fairhurst of the Washington Supreme Court and Extern for Judge Robert S. Lasnik of the U.S. District Court, has provided her significant insight into the litigation process. Her extensive background in legal writing and debate advocacy has also provided a solid foundation for her career as a litigator. Jessica received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, and her B.S. in Communications Studies and Politics & Government from the University of Puget Sound.

Lisa’s practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she served as a nonprofit program director and outdoor educator. Lisa’s experience with international human rights groups and LGBTQ organizations has provided her with invaluable insights into the litigation process and defense of clients. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho.

A recent law school graduate, Christie’s practice spans real estate, land use, and environmental law. She assists clients with a variety of permitting and zoning issues, as well as commercial real estate transactions and environmental due diligence. Prior to law school, Christie worked in the U.S. Senate for nearly five years, and has extensive experience drafting and advising on federal legislation. She received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and her B.A. in Politics from Whitman College.
