This event brings together over 900 professionals to talk shop about the ever-changing world of the municipal bond market. Dan Gottlieb, Panel Chair - “Health Care Facilities - Non Tax Matters”
Dan’s panel examines non-tax issues for financings of 501(C)(3) health care providers, including issues surrounding mergers and acquisitions, issues surrounding financially troubled credits, disclosure issues, and issues related to health care reform and alternative financing structures. This panel focuses on these issues by discussing a list of current hot topics in health care finance.
Brandon Pond, Panelist - “Hot Topics in Securities Law”
Brandon’s panel includes practitioners and securities regulators. Their discussion focuses on the latest federal securities law issues facing the municipal bond market, with a focus on how bond lawyers may assist their clients in addressing these issues. Other topics addressed in the panel include the implementation of financial obligation disclosure under SEC Rule 15c2-12, securities liability for post-issuance disclosure, disclosure of risk factors, and a review of the past year’s municipal securities litigation enforcement activity.
