Chambers USA Recognizes HCMP Attorneys for Excellence in Legal Counsel

Three HCMP real estate and land use attorneys have been recognized for provision of outstanding legal services by Chambers & Partners in its 2015 USA Guide.

The firm's Real Estate and Land Use practice received a Band 1 ranking, with Ryan Durkan, Melody McCutcheon and Richard Wilson named as leading individuals in the practice. According to Chambers’ researchers, “the team is known for taking on entitlement and permitting issues for clients and its relationships with federal, state and local agencies. They represent both private and public entities on a myriad of real estate matters.”

Specific to team members, Chambers says that all three are "well known and respected." Ryan specializes in permitting and land development issues, Melody has a background as a senior planner at the predecessor of the Department of Planning and Development, thus giving her insight into the process of government permitting, and Richard’s practice encompasses residential subdivisions, major master plans and business park projects.

Chambers & Partners is a London-based publishing company, producing legal services guides around the globe. Leading international law firms and individuals are ranked in the principal areas of law. The Chambers USA Guide follows the same pattern, covering every state in the USA. Top firms and attorneys are ranked and their merits described - often in the words of clients Chambers has interviewed.
